Job Overview:
Our global Client began operations in the late 1970’s and is a leader in the Oil Field/Well Services industry with a strong presence in Canada and growing operations in Russia. When the Company acquired a pressure pumping service business in the southern United States, they made a strong entry into the U.S. market. They have decided to expand their southern U.S. presence by adding two (2) Executive Sales Representatives. These experienced sales positions are newly created and will be located in Houston, TX and Tulsa, OK. , reporting directly to the V.P. of Sales & Technology-Southern U.S. Region, with a dotted line into the President & C.O.O. –Company Headquarters. Because this successful International Oil Field/Well Services organization is an industry leader with a strong focus on employee and client relationships, these superior Candidates will need to have exceptional skills and proven track records working in the Oil Field Services industry establishing, building and maintaining client relationships. These exceptional Sales executives will act as a go-between for customers and Technical Services, as well as spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective sales growth strategies and processes for the Company. These successful sales candidates are considered “executive” level because they require a high level of responsibility, integrity, motivation, focus, accountability, passion, humility and the ability to build trusted relationships with other “executives” at key customers. This is a rare opportunity and one of the most exciting sales positions our firm has seen for an Executive Sales Representative with a keen sense of relationship and customer service skills, the ability to listen in order to interpret clients’ needs and provide new and creative solutions and the willingness to be open-minded and remain teachable.
Position Description:
- Responsible for establishing, building and maintaining relationships between Company and its clients.
- Executive Sales Representatives act as a go-between for customers and Technical Services gathering client requirements, creating and pricing job offers, scheduling work and following up on completed jobs.
- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective sales growth strategies and processes for Company.
- Provide accurate and timely forecast’s using appropriate sales tools and processes, as well as maintain all relevant information about Customers, Prospects, Campaigns and Leads.
- Provide executive level representation at high-stakes meetings with prospects, clients and technology partners.
- Interprets client’s requirements, and then suggests Company solutions. Compiles customer requirements for communication to Technical Services.
- Responsible for the communication of all pertinent data to Technical Services in order to facilitate accurate program design and to ensure that all client requirements will be met.
- Works closely with field personnel and clients to ensure business is transacted accurately and within pricing guidelines to the highest ethical standards. Ensures all proposals are programmed properly, and are executed on time. Ensures that the completed job has met or exceeded the original needs of the client.
- Required to negotiate invoicing problems with clients to a mutually satisfactory resolution to client and Company.
- Proactively networks to establish new relationships with possible clients calling on executive levels (such as VP’s or Sr. VP’s) at both large, multi-national and independent oil companies. Remains open minded to finding and creating new business opportunities.
- Required to travel to entertain clients and representatives to maintain relationships. (Frequency will vary depending on the customer).
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills in order to comfortably sell and negotiate with customer and potential clients, along with the ability to build relationships at multiple levels.

- Evaluates and anticipates any challenges/problems that may arise both internally and externally and rapidly provides resolutions for challenges/problems through identification and execution.
- Makes sound decisions. Demonstrates an ability to make decisions on issues within or impacting sales territory within sphere of responsibility; informs management of significant decisions prior to their implementation.
Specific Requirements:
- Professional degree; (i.e. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering) preferred from an accredited college or university
- Industry Specific Training and Education
- Minimum 5 - 10 years Oil Field Industry sales experience a must (Oil Field “pressure pumping service” sales experience a strong preference)
- Previous experience and contacts developed in designated sales area
- All required field certificates up to date to travel to job sites if necessary.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent Power Point skills.
- Limited travel outside the sales territory, but occasional travel across US operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- No Supervision of others is required
